Paxton, a family-owned wine company established in 1979, is a leader in organic and biodynamic viticulture in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Founder David Paxton, one of Australia’s most respected viticulturalists, has spent over 30 years growing wine grapes of exceptional quality. The Paxton family has carefully managed their McLaren Vale vineyards for three decades, a region internationally renowned for its premium wines; particularly reds.

Their cellar door, which opened in 2005 at the historic Landcross Farm, offers daily tastings and hosts events, providing visitors a taste of Paxton’s commitment to quality and sustainability.

Paxton’s vineyards, spread across diverse sites and soil types, are managed biodynamically, emphasizing natural compost and eliminating synthetic fertilizers and pesticides to promote healthy, living soils. In 2011, Paxton achieved full certification as an organic and biodynamic wine producer.
