Meet the Founders of Guilt Free Wine: Our Story

Wine has always been about more than what's in the glass.

For us, it's about people, place, farming, food, family and the stories behind the bottle.

Guilt Free Wine was created by Jeremy and Amelia from a shared belief that finding thoughtfully made wine shouldn't be difficult or confusing.

We wanted to create a place where people could discover exceptional Australian wines while more easily understanding how they're grown, how they're made and what makes each bottle different.

That idea became Guilt Free Wine.

Amelia's Passion for People, Place and Purpose

Amelia brought another important part of the GFW philosophy: a strong interest in sustainability, thoughtful farming and the people behind the wine.

For us, discovering a great bottle isn't simply about a label or a score.

It's about understanding where the grapes came from, who grew them, how the vineyard is cared for and the philosophy of the people responsible for turning those grapes into wine.

That connection between producer, place and bottle is something we want Guilt Free Wine customers to experience too.

Jeremy's Journey: From Heritage to Curiosity

Growing up with Italian heritage, wine was always part of Jeremy's world, something enjoyed around food, family and conversation.

Over time, his own experiences led him to become much more curious about what went into the wines he was drinking and how they were being made.

That curiosity opened the door to organic, biodynamic, preservative-free and lower-intervention wines, and to an extraordinary community of Australian growers and winemakers doing things differently.

What started as a personal search for greater transparency ultimately became part of the inspiration behind Guilt Free Wine.

Together, We Created Guilt Free Wine

Guilt Free Wine brings those two perspectives together.

We search for wines from Australian producers whose approach to farming and winemaking gives customers something worth discovering, whether that's certified organic or biodynamic farming, vegan-friendly winemaking, no-added-preservative or lower-preservative production, sustainability initiatives or simply an exceptional commitment to quality and place.

Not every wine in our collection carries every one of those attributes.

And that's important.

Rather than lumping everything together under one label, we want to make those individual characteristics easier to understand so you can choose the wines that matter to you.

More Than an Online Wine Store

Our ambition for Guilt Free Wine goes beyond selling bottles.

We want to help make wine less intimidating, more transparent and more interesting.

That's why you'll find detailed information across our wines, along with Learn & Discover, where we explore subjects such as organic and biodynamic wine, vegan winemaking, sulphites, preservatives, grape varieties, regions and the stories behind Australia's producers.

You shouldn't need to be a sommelier to understand what you're buying.

You just need good information and a great bottle of wine.
