The palate is full-bodied and generous, delivering fresh blackberry and warm toasty damson with soft, supple tannins before a long finish of cherry toast and sweet coffee bean.

Food Pairing: Perfect with roast beef, slow-cooked lamb shanks, beef casserole, mushroom dishes, roast vegetables and mature cheeses. Mount Avoca specifically recommends roast beef or slow-cooked lamb shanks with potatoes.
