Kalleske Viognier 'Plenarius' 2024, Biodynamic, No Added Preservatives, Vegan - Barossa Valley, South Australia
Rich, textural and wonderfully distinctive, this biodynamic Barossa Valley Viognier opens with dried apricot, marmalade, lavender and lemon, layered with honey, ripe white stone fruit and a subtle cold-tea earthiness. The palate is silky and gently oily, balanced by fine chalky phenolics and mineral freshness that give the wine shape, grip and length. Wild fermented entirely on skins and matured in seasoned French oak, it is naturally amber in colour, savoury, complex and unapologetically different.
Food Pairing: Perfect with Moroccan-spiced chicken, roast cauliflower with tahini, pumpkin risotto, roast pork, spiced vegetable dishes and hard cheeses.
