Kalleske Shiraz 'Zeitgeist' 2023, Biodynamic, No Added Preservatives, Vegan - Barossa Valley, South Australia
Vibrant, primal and bursting with fruit, this biodynamic Barossa Valley Shiraz opens with ripe plum, blackcurrant and blueberry, layered with violets, liquorice, clove spice and a touch of pepper. The palate is richly flavoured and full-bodied, with pure black and blue fruits supported by lightly grippy natural tannins and a long, dry finish. Completely unoaked and bottled young to capture the character of the vintage, Zeitgeist is fresh, energetic and beautifully expressive with remarkable purity of fruit.
Food Pairing: Perfect with veal, wood-fired pizza, barbecue meats and grilled vegetables — Kalleske’s own recommended pairings for the 2023 Zeitgeist.
