Bright, savoury and beautifully distinctive, this organic McLaren Vale red blend is led by Touriga Nacional, with Mataro, Graciano and Shiraz adding depth and complexity. Dark berry fruit, cherry blossom and bergamot sit alongside earthy spice and a gentle savoury edge, while fresh acidity and fine, grainy tannins keep the palate energetic and balanced. Medium-bodied and expressive, it finishes long, dry and polished with plenty of character.

Food Pairing: Perfect with grilled lamb, slow-cooked beef, chorizo, Mediterranean dishes, roasted vegetables, mushroom-based dishes and hard cheeses.

More than the sum of its parts, 'Heretic' is a super blend of ‘alternative’ varieties, bringing Iberian flavours and savoury goodness to the wine, with a soupcon of that McLaren Vale classic, Shiraz. A wine for all seasons, 'Heretic' has a cherry blossom nose with dark fruits on the soft, savoury palate. It finishes nice and tight and focused and has a lovely gravelly grainy structure and length.
