Tscharke Montepulciano 'The Master' 2021, Biodynamic, Vegan, Gluten Free - Barossa Valley, South Australia
Bold, savoury and beautifully structured, this Barossa Montepulciano delivers juicy dark cherry, wild plum and boysenberry layered with red liquorice, dried herbs, earthy spice and subtle French oak. Grown at Tscharke’s Stone Well vineyard, planted in 2001 as one of Australia’s earliest Montepulciano vineyards, the palate is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, firm chalky tannins and a long, mineral, savoury finish.
Food Pairing: Beef bolognese, slow-cooked beef, brisket, lamb, barbecue meats, tomato-based pasta, pizza or mature cheeses.
