Tscharke Grenache 'A Thing of Beauty' 2021, Biodynamic, Vegan, Gluten Free - Barossa Valley, South Australia
Perfumed, vibrant and beautifully expressive, this Barossa Grenache delivers red cherry, raspberry and ripe strawberry layered with rose petals, red liquorice, fresh herbs, earthy spice and subtle aniseed. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy red fruit, energetic acidity and polished savoury tannins, while eight months in terracotta amphorae preserves freshness, purity and a long, finely textured finish. Drink it slow. Or don't. It's hard to resist.
Food Pairing: Roast lamb, pork, duck, grilled chicken, charcuterie, mushroom dishes, Mediterranean vegetables or mature cheeses.
