Mount Avoca Lagrein 'Estate' Old Vintage 2018, Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free - Pyrenees, Victoria
Dark, savoury and distinctive, this certified organic Pyrenees Lagrein opens with blackberry and dark plum, layered with violets, liquorice, herbs and subtle mocha-toast complexity. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, with juicy dark fruit, rounded tannins and a savoury herbal edge carrying through to a long, characterful finish.
Food Pairing: Perfect with slow-cooked beef, lamb shanks, chargrilled meats, mushroom dishes, rich tomato-based pasta and mature cheeses.
