Kalleske Cabernet Sauvignon 'Merchant' 2023, Biodynamic, Vegan, Gluten Free - Barossa Valley, South Australia
Elegant, structured and beautifully expressive, this biodynamic Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with cherry and violet, layered with baking spice, black olive, cedar, tobacco and a subtle savoury edge. The palate is medium-full bodied with vibrant red and blue fruits, extremely fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity giving the wine excellent shape and restraint. A measured influence of French oak adds depth without overpowering the fruit, leading to a long, polished finish with classic Cabernet character.
Food Pairing: Perfect with roast beef, grilled lamb, slow-cooked beef, mushroom dishes, chargrilled vegetables and aged cheddar.
