Kalleske Zinfandel 2024 'Fordson', Biodynamic, Vegan, Gluten Free - Barossa Valley, South Australia
The 2024 Kalleske Zinfandel 'Fordson' is a single-vineyard red wine from the Barossa Valley, Australia, crafted by Kalleske Wines. This wine is produced from low-yielding, organically and biodynamically grown vines planted in shallow sandy loam over deep red clay soils. The grapes were harvested on April 5th, pressed seven days later, and underwent fermentation with twice-daily pump-overs. Post-fermentation, the wine was matured in seasoned French and American oak hogsheads for one year before bottling.
