Adelina Cabernet Franc 2022, Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free - Clare Valley, South Australia
Deeply aromatic, energetic and full of character, this organic Clare Valley Cabernet Franc shows raspberry, redcurrant and blackcurrant with paprika, dried rose, mint and a subtle earthy edge. The palate is medium-bodied and juicy, with cranberry-like acidity, fine dusty tannins and a slightly gravelly texture that gives the wine tension and drive. Savoury, vibrant and beautifully individual, it finishes long with mulberry, herbs and a distinctive mineral character.
Food Pairing: Perfect with beef lasagne, French onion soup, penne with sausage and fennel, Moroccan beef stew, roast lamb, chargrilled vegetables and hard cheeses.
