Frankland Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 - Frankland River, Western Australia

Experience a taste of the Frankland River Valley with Frankland Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. A full-bodied, bold Cab Sav presents a bouquet of dark chocolate, cedar, and dried Italian herbs, complemented by lifted red currant and mulberry aromas. The palate is opulent yet focused, with ripe fruit flavours balanced by mouthcoating chalky tannins, imparting texture and length. Notes of cacao and tobacco leaf add further complexity. Enjoy the best of Australia's West!

While Hunter Smith talks about elegance as much as power as important attributes of this wine, it's also one that reflects where it comes from – and no denying this achieves all that and more. Cassis and mulberries, squid ink and bay leaves, astonishing tannins – superfine yet with tensile strength and vibrancy throughout. Gorgeous now and will unfurl gracefully in time

Get ready to meet a wine that means business. This bold, full-bodied cab is everything you want in a wine, and then some. It’s got layers of complexity and an earthy twist you didn’t see coming. The tannins? Super fine, with serious backbone—delivering that perfect mix of power and elegance that I will be pairing with my sunday BBQ. It’s vibrant, lively, and super drinkable right now, but don’t be fooled, I'm sure it will get better with age. This one’s a keeper.
