About Us

Meet Jeremy and Amelia

Their love affair started at the same time as a love affair for wine; in their spare time they love exploring Australia’s wine regions, trying out unexplored and up-and-coming wineries and drinking the finest wines. Jeremy introduced Amelia to preservative free wines and seeing their potential, their partnership slowly expanded into a business partnership and Guilt Free Wine was born.

Amelia and Jeremy are committed to continuous learning and growth and invest their time learning about the science of wine, biological and ecological factors that are interlinked with wine production and exploring environmentally and socially conscious wineries to find the best certified organic and biodynamic, low-preservative wines that they can offer straight to you. 

You will find that at every step of the way they keep the environment in mind, so all packaging is fully recycled and recyclable.

 

Amelia 

Amelia grew up with a sweet palate, preferring moscato and pinot gris to other wine varieties. It was not until a trip to Europe in 2016 (her first solo trip and Adventure overseas) where she discovered red wine, and, how wine, food and culture are interlinked. Moonlighting as a bartender and in catering while studying, exposed her to how much alcohol (and wine in particular) is linked to Australian culture and social identity. After meeting Jeremy (a lover of reds) her palette came to expand and include red varieties, and you can find her drinking Grenache or Shiraz on weekends.

Amelia has two degrees specialising in Ecology and Conservation Biology. With a passion for sustainability, exploring only certified organic and biodynamic wineries, which preserve the natural environment of the wine regions was critical for the business.

In her spare time she loves art, design and exploring nature and is the creative voice behind Guilt Free Wine.

Jeremy

Jeremy, being Italian, grew up with wine being part and parcel of his family culture. Having a particular nose for Reds, you can find him drinking the finest Shiraz in his spare time. 

Being very health conscious, and reading about all the additives wine makers put in wine such as egg and milk products, and having dairy and sulphite allergies. Jeremy was determined to find an alternative. After he discovered preservative free wines that don’t leave you with a shocking hangover the next day, decided it was a no-brainer to inform friends and family about these wines.

Having owned a successful business for about 15 years, creating a business about his love of wine was a given, and Jeremy is often the rational and analytical voice behind Guilt Free Wine.

The two coming together was the perfect pairing and they hope that by bringing only certified, eco-conscious, low-preservative, groundbreaking wines to the world they will not only make the environment happier, but you happier too.
