Such a mellow and satisfying wine. Nourishing almost, if that’s a thing. Dark cherry, raspberry, but not sweet at all, just a fruitiness set amongst brambles and sweet earth and Aussie bush characters with white pepper and game meat liberally applied. Texture is suede, grip on the tongue, a coolness from acidity as it all flows and nestles into the palate with its savouriness. A robust pinosity on hand? Perhaps. It’s delicious any which way.
