The 2023 Fumé-style Sauvignon Blanc from Stefano Lubiana is where precision winemaking meets cool-climate magic. Grown on biodynamic, organically certified soils in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley, this is a wine that defies expectations; richer, deeper, and more textural than the typical grassy Savvy B.
Whole bunch pressed, wild fermented in seasoned French oak, and aged on lees, it delivers layers of citrus, ripe nectarine, smoky flint, and subtle spice. It’s creamy yet fresh, structured yet free-flowing, a beautifully balanced white with real gravitas. There’s no shouting here, just quiet confidence and uncompromising craftsmanship.
